Sign up & onboarding

Create an account

Go to app.roni.so and choose one of the options:

• Sign in with Google — one click, no password to remember.
• Sign in with email — on the sign-up form enter your name, email and a password, then click Sign up.

Passwords must be at least 7 characters long and include a number, a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter and one special character (for example !, @, # or .).

Every new account gets its own workspace with a General project, even if you joined through an invite.

Onboarding

The first time you sign in, Roni asks a few short questions. You can Skip any step.

1. Profile — pick an emoji or upload a profile picture.
2. Your role — for example Designer, Engineer or Project Manager.
3. How you’ll use Roni — With my team or For myself.
4. Create a workspace — give it a name and a logo or icon.
5. Invite your teammates — enter their email addresses.
6. Choose your mood — Light, Dark or System theme.

Forgot your password?

On the sign-in screen click Forgot Password? and enter your email. If an account exists, you’ll receive a reset link that is valid for 1 hour.

Joining through an invite

• Email invite — click the button in the email. Invites are valid for 30 days and can only be used once, with the email address they were sent to.
• Invite link — a workspace or project link shared by a teammate. Opening it adds you to the workspace as a Guest (and to the project, for a project link). If you are already signed in, you join without signing out.
